Una historia de amor a través de un estudio del paisaje. La voz de una mujer le habla al padre de su único hijo. Él la abandonó antes de saber del embarazo. Muchos años después, se entera de la existencia de su hijo y decide emprender su búsqueda. Desde el punto de vista de la mujer, es una búsqueda imposible, como la de todos los hombres. La mujer refiere constantemente a una pintura de José María Velasco de un tren que atraviesa La Cañada de Metlac en el siglo XIX, anunciando la fuga de la tradición al estruendoso paso del progreso.

A love story through a study of landscape. The voice of a woman speaks to the father of her only child. He abandoned her before knowing about her pregnancy. Several years later, he finds out about his child and decides to search for him. From the woman’s point of view, it a lost quest, just as every man’s quest. The discourse of the woman refers constantly to a painting by Mexican landscape painter Jose Maria Velasco, of a train traversing the ravine of Metlac in the XIX century, announcing the fugue of tradition.

Tanta Luz tuvo una exposición individual (reproduciéndose en bucle por 2 semanas) en el Museo Nacional de Arte, Ciudad de México (Marzo 2017).

So Much Light  had a solo exhibition (in loop for two weeks) at the National Museum of Art, Mexico City (March 2017).
